Bespoke: For Everyone, According to Their Needs
Bespoke began as a fund-raiser for Enable. It is designed to provide local artisans — particularly ethnic jewellers — with a wider consumer base, and ensure they receive a share of the profits made from their work.
Bespoke buys directly from local artisans, all of whom live below the poverty line despite lives of hard work and frugality. By circumventing their usual web of agents, wholesellers, and merchants with upscale downtown shops, we are able to pay them between 30% and 50% more than their usual prices, making a considerable difference to their quality of life.
