Cloud Atlas

It took me a while to get out of my serial mystery-reading stupor and transfer them from my little point-and-shoot, but here are the photographs I took of the gorgeous clouds and unseasonably bright monsoon sun, today and during yesterday’s sneak-attack sunburst πŸ™‚

    • What a coincidence! Mine too πŸ™‚ In fact, when I opened that gold-bathed door, we found a shy pigeon trying to hide in the curve of the stairwell. It refused to leave till the sun had set and everything was dark and cool. One of those inexplicable mysteries of life.

    • Oh, gods, Ishita. I *love* the pictures. They’re wonderful, wonderful, and for exactly the same reasons you took them, they resonate with me. Indeed, though I haven’t pictures to go with it, I once wrote to an European friend why chaad was such an important, even poetic, social space for us. Your post makes me want to dig it up and post it.
